The Bun is Out of the Oven

20 Week Update

Posted by: bunintheoven on: November 27, 2006

Hal and I had a nice Thanksgiving weekend – family time, turkey dinner (and leftovers), quality time driving back and forth from here to SA (ha!) and and some catching up on things at home. Of course, the turkey was barely cold before Christmas was thrust upon us! I still had pumpkins on the porch and people already had their Christmas lights lit…

Hitting the halfway point and the year coming to an end has caused us to start thinking about more logistical things. We need to look into getting a living will, a life insurance policy and make a decision on whether or not we’re going to privately bank the baby’s cord blood. If anyone has a recommendation on a family lawyer in Austin, please let us know.

We stopped in the Pottery Barn Outlet in San Marcos today to see if they had any baby furniture, but they only had kids stuff. So, I think we’ll check out USA Baby and Babies R Us here in Austin.

I’ve been feeling the baby move everyday. I also feel like I’ve gotten enormous the past 10 days or so. My “pregnant appetite” has definitely kicked in! It’s like the sensor that says “you’re full” never goes off. So, I’m trying to be cautious throughout the holidays that I don’t go crazy, particularly on all the fattening food (i.e. Cookies – my favorite!)

Also, I think we’ve agreed on a girl name — Cameron Saville.

Jess & Hal, great pick for the name (a lot better than Emma – who’s idea was that?}. Need to start working on a gift list for showers Etc, Great to see you on Turkey Day.

Love POPS

I LOVE the new name!!!!!!! It is a winner!!!!

i guess you didn’t like ricochet, debris, or espionage…that’s ok, i’ll save them for my kid’s names. :-)

I like the name choice. It sounds so good together, Cameron Saville. Do you have any thoughts on the middle name? Glad to hear that Thanksgiving was good. Don’t succumb the holiday pressure. You need some peace and relaxation.

christy – no middle name. hopefully she can keep saville as her middle name if/when she gets married. can you believe the cold snap we’re having?
