I should be exactly 5 weeks today. We shared the news with our immediate family late last week and weekend. Some were shocked, but everyone was excited. My doctor wouldn’t see me for my first prenatal visit until I’m 7-8 weeks along, so I have my apppointment on Friday the 25th. I’m anxiously awaiting it, just to hear that everything is going well. The most noticeable symptom is that I’m really tired in general. Other than that: waking up in the middle of the night (I never do that!), sore boobs (ouch!), and occassional hot flashes! The baby is due in mid-April, so I’m thankful I won’t have to deal with the TX heat during the pregnancy. I’m hoping to use this blog to share the 9-month (now 8 month) journey with family and friends. Harold & I are very excited!! I know he’s going to be the best Dad ever & it feels great to think we’re starting a family!!!
